We started Hartwell & Co in 2009 with one rule: the engineer who quotes the job is the engineer who finishes it.
Fifteen years on, we're still a small firm by design. Three senior engineers and one apprentice, all Gas Safe registered, all directly employed, no subcontractors. We work mainly on referrals from people we've helped before, which means we cannot afford to do a poor job. We rarely have to.
We handle everything from a single radiator swap to a full heating overhaul or bathroom refit. The estimate you get on day one is the price you pay on day finished. If something turns out to be more complicated than it looked on the back of an envelope, we tell you before we touch anything.
